How we handle a correction. When we are told about a possible error we check it against the best available source. If it is wrong, we fix it. Substantive corrections — anything that changes the meaning, or would change a reader’s decision — are noted on the page along with the date. Minor fixes such as spelling or a broken link are made without a note.
Establishments. If you run a property or tour that we have described inaccurately, tell us and we will correct it. We will correct facts: location, facilities, ownership, status, and anything else verifiable. We do not remove or soften an honest assessment because its subject dislikes it.
Time-sensitive information. Prices, fees and regulations go out of date between updates. We date this material so readers can judge it, and we welcome being told when something has moved on.
