This site exists to help people plan a trip to Zambia. Everything published here is written for that purpose, and it is written to be useful rather than promotional.
What we write. Destination and property descriptions are written by us. We do not reproduce supplier marketing copy, and we do not present a provider’s own description as though it were an independent assessment. Where a property or tour has genuine drawbacks — remoteness, road access, seasonal closure, noise, limited facilities — we say so.
Facts and sources. Factual claims are checked against primary sources where primary sources exist: park authorities, government tourism bodies, transport operators, and the establishments themselves. Locations and coordinates are verified rather than estimated. Where we cannot verify something, we either leave it out or say plainly that it is uncertain.
Information that changes. Park fees, visa rules, health requirements, opening seasons and transport schedules all change. Pages carrying this kind of information are dated, and we ask readers to confirm anything time-sensitive against the official source before travelling.
Commercial relationships. This site earns affiliate commission on bookings. That relationship is disclosed on every page where it applies and is described in full in our Affiliate Disclosure. It has no bearing on what we include or how we describe it.
Mistakes. We correct them, and we say so when the correction is substantive.
