Getting there and getting around
Kabwe is on the T2 Great North Road about 140 km north of Lusaka and about 300 km south of Ndola. The lodge is off the Ndola road on the north-eastern side of town, behind Kabwe Mall, which makes it a straightforward arrival if you are coming down from the Copperbelt. You will want a vehicle: the centre is around three kilometres away.

Kabwe grew around the Broken Hill mine, where the fossil skull found in 1921 gave Homo rhodesiensis its name.
