It sits roughly 14 kilometres from the centre of the Lower Zambezi. The Lower Zambezi National Park runs along the north bank of the river opposite Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools, a narrow floodplain backed by an escarpment. Almost everything here is river-facing and seasonal, reached by light aircraft to Jeki or Royal airstrips or by a long drive and boat transfer from Chirundu.
