The bar is set up with multiple television screens for live sport. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas with food served on site, and a swimming pool in the grounds. The outdoor area is landscaped, giving a garden setting rather than a roadside forecourt. Conference and meeting facilities are available.
Trade-offs and what to know
This is well outside central Lusaka, so it is a drive-to property rather than a walkable base. Because the sports bar is a local drinking venue, quiet is not guaranteed on match nights. The lodge has no website, so booking is by telephone.
Getting there and getting around
Kafue Road is the route in from Lusaka and from the south. The airport is on the far side of the city. A vehicle is effectively required.
