Nsumbu and the southern shore of Lake Tanganyika offer something no other part of Zambia does: clear freshwater, diving and snorkelling alongside a wild and little-visited national park. Getting there is the obstacle — realistically two days by road from Lusaka, or a charter. Game viewing here is done by boat and on foot rather than by vehicle.
