Busanga Plains & Northern Kafue

The Busanga Plains lie in the far north of Kafue, and they are seasonal. Camps here typically open in June and close at the end of October, because the November to April rains flood the floodplain and make the black-cotton soil impassable. Access is by light aircraft in practice. What you get in return is open grassland, very few other vehicles and unusual predator behaviour.
