Ndola is Zambia’s commercial capital and the Copperbelt’s distribution centre. Hotels here serve mining and corporate travel, and travellers use them as a staging point for the DRC border or for flights out of Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport. The town’s own sights — the Copperbelt Museum, the slave tree, Lake Chilengwa — need a vehicle.
